Pythagoreio | Samos | Greece

About

Since 1992 Studio Kallisti has been home for Scandinavian people holidaying on the beautiful Greek island of Samos in the Eastern Aegean.

Studio Kallisti is located in the heart of the stunning village of Pythagoreio, Samos.

Pythagoreio, formerly known as Tigani. The town was renamed in 1955 to honour the locally born mathematician and philosopher Pythagoras.

The area of the island of Samos is 43 km (27 mi) long and 13 km (8 mi) wide. It is separated from Turkey, by the 1 mile (1.6 km)-wide Mycale Strait.

Samos is one of the sunniest places in Europe with almost 3300 hours of sunshine annually or 74% of the time.
